In the Premier Division Rams Head (Longton) beat Shawes Arms 5-2 with Damian Milnes beating Ted Preston, Ian McCulloch beating Roger Morton and Steve Foster beating Griff Walmsley to put the hosts 3 up. Gary Iddon then beat Marc Dickinson to give the Shawes some hope but that disappeared when Dave Mercer beat Neil Moore and Mick Suthers beat Lee Jones. Sean Maddock then finished the match with a 8 ball clearance against Maurice McCarthy to get the other Shawes frame. Into the Championship and Hendrys Spice Boys recorded their second consecutive win by beating Wilbraham Club 5-2. Paul Philips-Young beat Calum Rea to put Wilbraham Club in front only for Nigel Worthington to beat Les Stewart and Rob Dodds to beat Jason Doyle to put the Hendrys Boys 2-1 up. Mick Warburton then levelled the match by beating Mick Roscoe. After that, wins for Ian Smith against Ste Ali, Chris Singleton against Ken Baines and Bradley Ogden against Martin Bain ensured victory for the boys. In Division One Cattlemarket B hosted Longridge Con Club in a tight contest that went all the way. Ryan Ward beat Tom Haworth and William Slinger beat Jack Bristo to put the market 2 up only for the cons to take the next three frames with Dan Wilson, Ian Fordham and Paul Bateson beating Simon Birstall, Paul Higham and Phil Kehoe respectively. Steve Beck then won for market to level it at 3-3 by beating Craig Wilson. In the deciding final frame Adrian Wright beat Joe Bowerman to win it for the cons. Into Division Two and Bamber Bridge Con Reds won comfortably at Plungington Tavern A by 6-1 with wins for Alan Jackson against Dave Birtwistle, James Skipper against Stuart Morris, Sam Turner against Jason Eastham, Scott Hayden against Paul Graham, Ricky Collier against Ben Graham and Glenn Jones against Ken Teague with only Andy Walling winning for the tavern by beating Jeff Nowell. In Division Three The Eldon hosted the Old Dog Inn and they made a good start when Ben Crudass and Ste Crudass beat Neil Hopkinson and Jamie Wareing to put Eldon 2-0 up before Ryan Kellett beat Richard Bradley to reduce the arrears. Matt Levett then beat Ste Whittle for a 3-1 lead, Steve Kellett beat Gemma Levett and Simon Grey beat Stuart Evans to level match at 3-3. In the deciding frame Charlie Higham beat Steph Hodgson to seal an away win for the Dog. There was only one 8 ball clearance recorded this week and that was from Sean Maddock (Shawes Arms) .
