The draws for the Main (Second Round) and Plate (Preliminary Round) competitions have been made and are now online. Matches are played Thursday the 26th April.
Please submit all queries and results ASAP to any of the Competition Secretaries.
If you need to book your venues table in advance, please do so!
Entries for the Individuals and Pairs will be taken Wednesday the 21st Feb at St Gregorys Club between 7pm and 8pm.
As agreed at the AGM, all entries must be submitted with contact mobile numbers.
At the Annual General Meeting last week, the two submitted proposals were discussed and agreed by a unanimous vote.
Proposal 1 – Remove the option to POST result cards to the league. All result cards will need to be submitted by email (to prestonanddistrictpool@gmail.com) or by text message to the League Secretary.
Proposal 2 – Add mobile phone numbers for all entries in the Individuals and Scotch Pairs competition to ease communication problems in the competitions between players.
Other notable updates were,
Update 1 – Player ranking system. From next season, ALL results in the League Cup and League Shield will be included in the player ranking system.
Update 2 – The All-Stars Individuals Invitational competition will be moved to an annual competition from its current status every season.
The Main and Plate Individuals draws are now online. Its been a challenge to squeeze everything in due to the short season, outstanding previous round matches and clashes with other competitions.
Matches are spread across the end of January and start of February.
The final of the Main Individuals will be played at Presentation Night.
The Semi-Finals of the plate and Final will be played in the mid-season break on Monday nights.

As announced last week, the draws for the Individuals Main and Plate competitions have been issued. A couple more previous round matches have now been completed in the plate competition so the draw has now been updated to reflect this.
