Registrations cannot be accepted via WhatsApp.
This isn’t bureaucracy for bureaucracy’s sake—it’s about accountability. The registration process was agreed upon by the league’s three Finance Officers and at the EGM to ensure transparency and fairness across the board. All new registrations or changes to teams must go through the official email:
📧 Registrations@prestonanddistrictpool.com
This helps:
•     Keep a clear audit trail
•     Prevent any accusations of bias or wrongdoing
•     Spread the workload fairly across the committee
Please also note:
Teams are expected to give at least 72 hours’ notice when signing on a player—because we have a home life too.
🕗 The latest you can register a player to be eligible for the following Monday is close of play (8pm) on Friday.
Although a player may be listed, they will remain “unregistered*” until payment has been received. Please email us as soon as payment has been made so we can complete the process.

*1. If a team plays a non-registered player the team will be fined 5 points each player.
2. Where an unregistered player has won the point for that frame will be reversed and awarded to
the opposing team and the player listed.
3. Where this was the first frame that the opposition player had played during a league match, they
will also be awarded the Merit score.
4. The Match result will also be amended accordingly.
5. Teams playing a non-registered or ineligible player in the CUP (See 7c) will automatically be
disqualified with the opposition team progressing to the next round
